The wonderful Cara Rose returns to Hamburg after an acclaimed performance at this year's Reeperbahn Festival, where she was also one of the nominees for the Anchor Award.

Cara Rose is a singer-songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland, who doesn't look her age at all. She explores what it means to be a young woman going through life in such uncertain times. Her soulful thoughts have won her fans of all ages as she has honed her craft on Glasgow's many stages. Her direct, passionate and insightful lyrics are unmistakably Glaswegian, covering topics such as love, life and her place in the world.

Debut single Learn to Speak, a tale of rebellion and determination, cemented the growing buzz for one of the country's most brilliant young talents. She received editorial support from Spotify and reached over 3.5 million streams, gaining fans in her native Scotland, Europe and North America. In early 2020, Cara went into the studio with renowned producer Matt Ingram(Lianne La Havas, Laura Marling) and began finalizing her debut EP Urges, which was highly anticipated in October 2020.

After spending the lockdown with her family in a small seaside town in the west of Scotland, Cara began writing her most expressive and introspective work to date, culminating in a new EP of delicate piano ballads that exude a talent well beyond her years. How It Feels (released in November 2021) shows the young songwriter at her most vulnerable lyrically, willingly leaning into the jazz influence that shaped much of her childhood.

In the years that followed, she released soulful and brilliant singles and played her biggest ever concert of 600 people in her hometown of Glasgow. Her first headline show outside Scotland followed in November 2023 and a sold-out debut European tour with concerts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2024.

Musically gifted from an early age, Cara has nurtured her love of music from the soul. Her sound is reminiscent of artists such as Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone, Lauryn Hill, Joan Armatrading and John Martyn.
