Carpentry dudes

Armin Billens and Dirk Beiersdörfer met for the first time at the beginning of 2021 in the midst of the coronavirus lockdown chaos. As there were hardly any opportunities to perform during this time, the two quickly started with so-called "window concerts". They played in front of windows, in courtyards, on the street and anywhere else where it was possible to play "at a distance".

The experience of the window concerts is the nucleus of the Carpentry Dudes. Little equipment, two-part singing and the most intimate setting possible. With the addition of a double bass and Marcus A. Hubert, they became a trio. They rehearse in a carpenter's workshop between a circular saw and wood shavings, and the band's sound is also warm and woody. The Carpentry Dudes take listeners on a journey through the musical styles they love. Blues, country, rockabilly, rock and roll, gypsy swing presented with a charming vintage attitude. Their own songs are mixed with interpretations by other artists. Every performance is new and unique and the live experience always takes center stage. Carpentry Dudes deliver music for the moment.
