RUNNING WITH SCISSORS TOUR

From the nursery to the big stages of the world - what sounds like an unattainable dream to many has become a reality for British singer-songwriter Cavetown. Behind Cavetown is Robin Daniel Skinner, born in Cambridge in 1998. Even as a child, he invented and illustrated his own stories, and later his musical family - a choirmaster and a music teacher - taught him the acoustic guitar. At the age of 14, he started a YouTube channel on which he initially published cover versions and his first original songs. Today, over two million people follow him there, many of whom have literally grown up with him.

From the early cover videos to the self-titled debut album at 17 to the acclaimed albums "16/04/16" (2016), "Lemon Boy" (2018), "Sleepyhead" (2020) and "Wormfood" (2022): Cavetown's songs have always been more than just music to his audience. They are retreats - safe, comforting and honest. Places where you can laugh, cry and feel understood. His eclectic mix of delicate ukulele ballads and atmospheric bedroom indie pop underscores lyrics full of vulnerability, warmth and authenticity. They tell of growing up, insecurities, family wounds and his own queer journey.

His sixth album "Running With Scissors" will be released in January 2026. It is perhaps the most personal to date - created in a time full of change, love and new responsibilities. Robin fell in love for the first time and at the same time became big brother to a sibling 26 years his junior. These experiences shape the album: it is more mature, more reflective, but still with that unmistakable warmth that makes Cavetown so special.

Anyone who has experienced Cavetown live knows that this magic is hard to describe. Together with his live band, he creates an intimate feeling of closeness, community and lightness that fills every room. His concerts are a home where everyone is welcome.
