Ceren Oran & Moving Borders: Elefnat from the egg
Dance and puppetry for children aged 3+

Dance, puppetry and live music are the ingredients of this dance theater piece in which four performers accompany an elephant through life. He is constantly faced with new challenges. Percussion and flute, rhythm of life and melody seduce the young audience from their everyday lives into a world in which an elephant hatches from an egg, into a world full of fantasy. Into a world where dreams can fly. A musician and a dancer are at the elephant's side from the very beginning, supporting him when he is still very small, playing with him as he gets bigger and finally leaning on him when he towers over them. They grow together with him in understanding and being understood. "Elephant from the Egg" is a play about growing up and developing, about change and friendships that make the impossible possible.

In her children's dance productions, Ceren Oran as a dancer manages to inspire even the youngest children for this silent language with vivid, but never flatly illustrated movements and an open gaze. As a choreographer, she creates pieces that make you shout "Ah" and "Oh", but without any cuteness terror and with a fine sense for the right dosage of all the arts, colors and forms involved. For this age group, this is (still) a rarity in Munich."
