"The Children of Today" invites the audience into a kitchen of the future, where the past is revisited to open doors to worlds beyond capitalism. Here, tenderness and absurdity collide, and speculative encounters raise questions about what futures we can even imagine.

The stage is powered by a single solar-powered battery. Lighting, sound, costumes and props come exclusively from renewable or recycled sources. This commitment to sustainability is not only ecological, but also poetic: the limitations of energy and resources shape the fabric of the entire performance.

Three figures appear by name - Vaslav Nijinsky, Cleopatra VI and Jérôme Bel. They transcend their historical epochs and appear as companions and provocateurs who bend the laws of logic and spark new possibilities of movement. Their presence destabilizes the familiar and opens up a space in which memory, fantasy and invention interweave.

Through repetition, minimal gestures and sudden bursts of imagination, the duet alternates between the everyday and the fantastic. What seems simple becomes multi-layered; what seems impossible becomes tangible.

"The Children of Today" is less a narrative than a transition: an invitation to enter a shared space of not-knowing, to sense what lies beyond nostalgia and to feel how even the smallest gestures could already carry the seeds of another world.
