Spend a sociable evening at our monthly Chess Night in Essen, treat yourself to a few tasty drinks in a relaxed pub atmosphere and show off your skills at our blitz chess tournament including Beginners, Advanced and Pro Cup!

Chess on your cell phone is cool - but it's simply better in real life! At our Chess Nights, you can experience the royal game in a completely new atmosphere: live, sociable and with a cool drink in your hand.

Once a month, we transform cozy bars and pubs in Dortmund, Münster and many other cities in NRW into lively meeting places for chess fans and those who want to become one. In a relaxed pub atmosphere, you can play exciting games of blitz chess, meet new people and enjoy an evening of games, fun and good humor together.

Whether beginner, hobby player or grandmaster - everyone is welcome! Our tournament mode with a preliminary round and subsequent division into Beginners, Advanced and Pro Cup ensures that all players can play at their level and have a fair chance. At the end of the evening, there are small prizes for the three best players in each cup.

The special thing about our chess events is that there are no strict tournament rules - no "touched, led" and even one wrong move doesn't mean all is lost. Instead, you can expect relaxed games, good conversations and lots of chess action in a cozy, open atmosphere.
