Chess Night XXL

Come along to Chess Night XXL at The Londoner in Dortmund, treat yourself to a few tasty drinks and show off your skills in our blitz chess tournament!

The thinking time per game is 3 minutes + 2 seconds extra time per move.

The preliminary round serves to classify your playing strength. At the beginning, groups of 6 players will be formed in which everyone plays against everyone else. At the end, your final group ranking will decide whether you continue in the subsequent knockout phase in the Beginners, Advanced or Pro Cup. Here you will meet other players with a similar level of play to yours, so that you have a fair chance of finishing on the winner's podium in your cup and taking home an award. The knockout phase is played in double knockout mode.
