The affair between teacher Pietro and his pupil Teresa is as forbidden as it is tempestuous. One day, on a whim, they decide to confide in each other a dark secret that they have never revealed to anyone. A lot of time has passed since then, Pietro has long since separated from Teresa, is married to Nina and is very successful as a book author. But the awareness of what Teresa knows and might reveal has haunted Pietro over the years. What if Teresa comes back?
In his latest film, master director Daniele Luchetti presents the story of a dangerous liaison across several time periods to a soundtrack by Thom Yorke and with the brilliant Elio Germano in the leading role.
