The Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger newspaper once described Jens Thomas as the "Jimi Hendrix of the grand piano". And that was an understatement. Because he is also a vocal artist and congenial duo partner, well known at the festival from the magical evenings with Matthias Brandt. Another dialog partner for performances free of agreements or a fixed playlist is the multiple ECHO award winner and Tingvall Trio drummer Jürgen Spiegel, who has already been celebrated with Thomas with the "Neil Young Collage". Now they are presenting their first joint album "Cinematic Art Pop", which will be released at the end of August. The two rely exclusively on their telepathic interplay and the power of improvisation.
