In the organizer's words:

"La Haine" by Mathieu Kassovitz celebrates its 30th anniversary. And so are we. The film offers a haunting look at life in the suburbs of Paris, which are characterized by social tensions and violence - and begins with one of the best monologues in film history: "Up to here it went quite well ... but it's not the fall that's important, it's the landing!"

CINESCAPE° presents contemporary film art between politics, aesthetics and society every first Thursday of the month. Let's be honest! When do you ever see something like this on the big screen? Visionary directors, outstanding actors and stories that move us. All films are shown in their original version with German subtitles (OmU) so that the authentic charm is not lost. After the screening, we open the bar for social gatherings - perfect for getting into conversation (doesn't have to be about the movie).
