Two brothers and a kindred spirit: The "RENNER" trio presents an unusual constellation on this evening.
The trombone-bass-drums line-up is by no means a common sight in jazz history. Moritz Renner, Tabea Kind and Valentin Renner make excellent use of the spaces that open up without a harmonizing instrument. The interplay between the three creates the perfect symbiosis between freedom and well-paced precision. You can always hear how close the musicians are to each other. The winners of the "Biberacher Jazzpreis 2024", convince "with intelligent compositions, emotional and virtuoso playing and a warm and transparent sound", which can be musically categorized in the genre of modern jazz.
