Clueso - Münsterplatz Konzert

After a unique one-and-a-half-year stretch with no fewer than seven single hits, "ALBUM" will be released on October 1, 2021. That's right: the ninth Clueso album is not only one, it's also called one. Perfect title, because: Clueso has never been so consistent in getting to the heart of his artistic vision.
With the work on "ALBUM", Clueso has left his filter bubble, faced up to his expectations and fears and written some of the best, most versatile and rousing songs of his career, far beyond his own comfort zone. The things we're working on right now always feel the most intense and the best, but sometimes they are: "For me, it really is a complete new beginning again," says Clueso. "Above all, I'm really excited about the 'ALBUM'. I know you often hear that, but I've really never been so happy with a new album."

"ALBUM" is about how you want to hold on to the night by holding on to the other ("Der Letzte Song" feat. Mathea), about distance, isolation and a feeling of being under absorbent cotton, but above all about the liberation from these feelings and the escape afterwards. The constant oscillation between melancholy and emphasis, departure and melancholy has always been a special color in Clueso's work. Now longing and euphoria are closer together than ever before in his work. So it's also about our predominant feelings of the past year and a half, and that's really crazy: without him ever suspecting or even planning it, Clueso has created exactly the
wild, exciting, intoxicating summer album that we all need right now. In this respect, "ALBUM" is the perfect soundtrack for the time after the pandemic.
