CocoonDance: MOMENTUM #2

In the organizer's words:

Driven by the pulsating beats, three dancers exert themselves to the point of complete exhaustion. Between rhythm and speed, light effects and the driving sounds, their movements become a source of hypnotic energy that connects the dancers with the audience. Tangible as a kinaesthetic experience in the shared space, the increasing emphasis and growing exhaustion is increasingly transferred to the audience and becomes the constitutive moment of the production.
Based on research into parkour, a sport that uses every obstacle in the given space as a source and energy for ever new impulses for movement, Momentum plays with the "desire to be absorbed unreservedly in the moment, in the blind beat, in the dance, in the crowd; and the terrible, the addiction, the exhilaration, the pushing, the affirmation." Fri, 5.12., 7 pm: Physical Introduction
Move, feel, experience! During the Physical Introduction you become active yourself - 30 to 45 minutes full of movement, relaxation and new perceptions. Feel dance on your own body and sensitize yourself for the upcoming piece. No previous knowledge necessary - just try it out!
