The Danish singer lives in Munich and is active in the jazz scene as well as in more pop areas. She will be performing her Cole Porter program at Le Pirate:

"In this program we dedicate ourselves to the incomparable repertoire of Cole Porter - one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century. Well-known classics as well as lesser-known (and also very beautiful!) pieces are reinterpreted in fresh, groovy arrangements. In close collaboration with my colleagues in the JazzBase Quartet - Roald Raschner (p), Markus Röder (b) and Philipp Hummel (dr) - we arranged a very groovy program that moves smoothly between modern groove elements, traditional vocal jazz and improvisational freedom and shows a contemporary perspective. We preserve the charm of the originals, but at the same time open up new musical facets and add soulful and refreshingly surprising foreign stylistic accents"

In December, she may also be able to coax a few songs out of herself that are in keeping with the season... :-)
