Combichrist is one of the most popular acts of the electro-industrial related "aggrotech" movement and consists of the Norwegian and "Icon of Coil" founder Andy LaPlegua, who is supported by a dynamic band at his intense live shows.
Everybody Hates You was Combichrist's first release on the American label Metropolis. The single "Get Your Body Beat" was specifically released on July 6, 2006 (6/6/6) and gave the band their first Billboard chart position with six weeks on the magazine's dance charts. In 2007, the album What the F**k Is Wrong with You People? was released with the club hits "Electrohead" and "Deathbed". An appearance on the Underworld: Rise of the Lycans soundtrack and a new album, Today We Are All Demons, kicked off 2009.
That same year, they went on tour with Wes Borland's Black Light Burns and joined Rammstein on a European tour, which led to an opening slot for the German industrial metal band in the U.S., including a string of sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden. In 2010, they also released the pulsating album Making Monsters, which featured songs composed by LaPlegua that were later featured on No Redemption, the soundtrack to the video game Devil May Cry. In 2017, Combichrist released the single "Broken: United". This track reappeared on the band's ninth album, One Fire, which was released two years later. It's a retrospective of sorts, with LaPlegua picking up ideas from across the band's career.
At this show, Combichrist will rock the stage with their electro-heavy, outschool set!
