Buddha's teachings can turn our usual view of things upside down: For many of us, difficult circumstances and tricky situations are associated with tension - they make us unhappy because they stress us out, make us cranky or angry, or maybe even make us feel desperate. Problems, big and small.... Normally we think that "problems" are something bad and "suffering" something to be avoided at all costs.
Buddha sees things completely differently: situations are situations. Our real problem is our inner unpleasant feeling in certain situations - so we don't really suffer from the situation, but from the fact that we can't deal with the situation easily.
On this afternoon, our guest teacher Gen Gyudzhin will introduce methods from Buddhist tradition that allow us to react to difficult situations with more composure and even grow from them.
