Five strong personalities are currently creating music that is constantly changing and always surprising. Corpo combines Nordic jazz with pulsating, southern rhythms and melodies. The result is a dynamic, expressive sound that is sometimes powerful, sometimes delicate and always full of virtuosity and emotion. For over three decades, the ensemble has been thrilling audiences on international stages - from Scandinavia and Central Europe to South Africa, where the unique blend of Nordic melodies and African percussion sounds has generated particular enthusiasm. With numerous acclaimed albums and an impressive live presence, Corpo stands for improvised music that pushes boundaries and hits the audience right in the heart.
