Guylaine Cosseron forms a creative duo with Diemo Schwarz from IRCAM (the French Institute for Research in Music and Sound) that deals with the confusion of timbres. Through improvisation, they explore the duality and complementarity between vocal performance and digital sound production. A poetic work that questions the relationship between man and machine.

Guylaine Cosseron - animal voice before the language of an emerging humanity, intrauterine voice that responds to the echo of the sounds of the living, Guylaine's instrument is also the breath, the lips, the tongue, the palate, the saliva, the glottis, the throat, the chest, the nose. She has performed with a dizzying list of improvisers around the world.

Diemo Schwarz, born in Germany in 1969, is a researcher at IRCAM, musician and creative programmer. He plays on his own digital musical instrument based on his open-source software CataRT and explores various sound collections using gestural controllers that reclaim musical expressiveness and physicality for the digital instrument. Since 1997 at IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acous-tique Musique) in Paris, he combines his studies in computer science and computational linguistics at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, with his interest in music - as an active performer and musician on drums and laptop, either solo or in various collaborations with other improvisers.

The Portuguese duo Guilherme and Ernesto Rodrigues - two leading voices in the field of free improvisation - come together with Münster-based guitarist Erhard Hirt for a rare and intimate performance. With decades of combined experience in the European experimental music scenes, the trio explores raw sound, deep listening and spontaneous interplay.
