Kim Carnie is best known as the lead singer of the band Mànran and has become one of Scotland's most sought-after singers since launching her solo career in 2018. Her velvety and slightly smoky voice thrills audiences on international stages. Her first solo album "And So We Gather" was released in summer 2022 and won the German Record Critics' Award.

During her impressive career, Kim has worked with renowned producers such as Jim Sutherland (Salmon Fishing in the Yemen), Donald Shaw (Capercaillie) and Ged Grimes (Simple Minds). She has also worked on numerous international projects, including with the Griot Royalty Trio Da Kali (Mali), award-winning kora player Seckou Keita (Senegal), Kalakan (Basque Country), Cedric Watson (USA/Creole) and the Celtic Odyssey: a high-profile collaboration at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, featuring virtuoso Ronan Le Bars (Breton) and Jose Manuel Tejedor (Asturias).

On this tour, Kim Carnie will be performing in Germany with her band, consisting of Innes White on guitar, Megan Henderson on violin and John Lowrie on piano. Fans can look forward to unique concerts where Kim Carnie's impressive voice and musical talent will take center stage.

For the performances in the Bürgerhaus Bornheide there are 20 district tickets at € 5 each. These can be collected from the information desk in the Bürgerhaus while stocks last.
