There is a huge crowd in front of the stage, whose impatient waiting immediately turns into exuberant applause when Chino, Mateo, Johnny Strange and Don Cali take to the stage. The world has changed a lot in the last 23 years. But the boundless joy and unbroken dynamism of a Culcha Candela show has hardly changed at all.

With over five million records sold, almost 35 precious metal awards and more than 1,500 live shows, Culcha Candela may no longer be reinventing themselves, but they don't have to. In recent years, the Berlin cult collective has shown time and again that they can shake energetic club bangers and hits with attitude out of their colorful sleeves with playful ease - today as in the past. After almost a quarter of a century in show biz, the band continues to tour sold-out venues, delivered the theme song for the European Handball Championships in Germany at the end of 2023 ("Celebration") and celebrated the 15th anniversary of the smash hit "MONSTA" in 2024/2025 with their "MONSTA 15" EP and the huge MONSTA TOUR. Standing still and retiring as pop stars are simply not (yet) an option for the legendary hip hop, reggae and Latin band.

The four boys from Berlin can rarely bear to just watch the world go by as "onlookers". Culcha Candela have always wanted to make a difference and make the world a little bit better. That's why they continue to be highly committed to social projects such as BeAnAngel e. V., Die Arche, ActionKids, Laut Gegen Nazis, Pro Asyl, Seebrücke, Afrika Rise and many others.
