VACATION FROM LOVE is about a singer and his love affair with his band. About the magic of the stage and the fading magic behind the scenes. Love and sex, intoxication and fame, glamor and greed - this star has it all. Or so it seems. But where does the glamor of the show end - and where does the private megalomania begin? In this physical theater concert, the CUMA Collective plays the bittersweet symphony of "life on the road". And questions standardized relationship models along the way. With newly interpreted songs by Canadian artist Michelle Gurevich. At the center: performer Elina Brams Ritzau dances, sings and plays the piano. Ritzau virtuously embodies a figure between the sexes, whose inner and outer struggles become visible. VACATION FROM LOVE is a plea to savor life in all its facets. Why resist temptation?
