A series of murders is keeping Düsseldorf on tenterhooks: valuable jewels are stolen and their former owners are brought around the corner in cold blood. The masked murderer is always one step ahead of the police, leaving only his trademark "The Black Hand" at the scene of the crimes. Inspector Platt and his intrepid colleague Derrick follow a hot lead to the inn on the Düssel and stir up a can of worms. Then the police chief's pretty secretary disappears without a trace. A race against time begins. And in the meantime, of course, more murders keep happening ...

We are delighted to be able to present the Düsseldorf version of the Hagen audience hit "Das Gasthaus an der Volme" for the first time, supported by the regional cultural funding of the LVR (Landschaftsverband Rheinland). 4 actors in 31 roles - Edgar Wallace would have been delighted with this crazy prank!
