Das große Quizduell: Wer ist Dortmunds schlaustes Duo?

Grab a team partner and put your general knowledge to the test at our big Quizduell evening in Dortmund!

Quizduell is a popular knowledge game that most of you have probably played on your smartphone. We're now bringing the game to the Shades Bar and turning it into a small, sociable team tournament!

Tournament mode

We will start the tournament with a preliminary round. Groups of four teams will be formed. Within each group, each team will play each other team once, so that each team will have three matches after the preliminary round.

First and second place in each group qualify for the knockout phase. From here on, the teams play against each other in single knockout mode until the three smartest teams of the evening are determined.

How does a duel work?

Each duel consists of 5 rounds. Each round consists of 3 questions on a specific category, which are chosen by the teams in turn. From more general topics such as inventions, sports or history to Harry Potter, memes and other special (niche) categories, you will have up to 90 different, unique categories to choose from over the course of the evening.

The team with the most correct answers out of the 15 questions wins the duel.
