Bilker Straße becomes a stage! Between the Heine Institute, Schumann House and Palais Wittgenstein, Düsseldorf celebrates a winter festival full of literature, music, art and a festive atmosphere.

Mulled wine in your hand, twinkling lights in the air - and right in the middle: a walk-in snow globe! Discover creative workshops and craft stations for families at Palais Wittgenstein, listen to singer-songwriter Oliver Steller and his guitar Frieda or immerse yourself in a special live radio play based on Heine's winter tale with Jasmin-Nevin Varul and foley artist Ralf Zartmann.

Frederike Möller's Toy Piano Festival will be a musical experience, showing in a charming way how the Schumanns celebrated Christmas. The Düsseldorf Marionette Theater will also be opening its doors and offering exclusive insights behind the scenes. For young (and old) literature fans, the Institut français will be reading "Heine for little ones" - in German and French.

A special highlight: caricaturist Jacques Tilly will be on site and give an exclusive signing session - the perfect opportunity to take a piece of Düsseldorf satirical art home with you!

Whether to marvel, listen, do handicrafts or simply enjoy: This winter festival combines culture and Advent spirit to create a very special experience on the Street of Romance and Revolution. ✨
