Felix (Matthias Schweighöfer) is at an impasse both in his family life and professionally. His wife Bianca (Luise Heyer) wants a separation, his children are drifting away from him and his hair is thinning. When he also loses his job, Felix finds himself on the edge of the abyss. Then a mysterious stranger (Henry Hübchen) offers him three wishes. Felix seizes this last hope of getting his family and his job back - and thus a meaning in life - and formulates a supposedly clever wish: all his wishes should come true. And suddenly he gets what he always wanted - success in his job, his hair finally grows back, love returns to his life. But his hidden desires also come to light. Felix falls deeper and deeper into the maelstrom of his darkest desires and is confronted with his subconscious desires. Until he finally realizes that there is only one true wish for him. To be able to wish for anything you want - who among us hasn't secretly dreamed of that at some point? But what if suddenly all your wishes really do come true - even the ones you didn't even know you had before?
