Das NEIN­horn

In the organizer's words:

A little unicorn is born in the heart forest. Although everyone is kind to it, the animal does not behave like a unicorn. It simply says "no" and is soon called NO unicorn by its family. It comes as it must: The NO horn breaks out of the cotton candy world. In the process, he meets the WASbear, who is hard of hearing (or doesn't want to hear), the NAhUND, who does what he wants, and the kingsDOCHter, who always talks back. The four of them make a pretty good team. Because here the NO-HORN can be as it is, and you can argue so nicely with the KING DOUG. But one day, neither of them knows what the argument is about. When the NAHUND acts like an educator, it gets too stupid for the NEINhorn and it hisses off. After a long hike, it ends up in the dense, dark jungle, where the SNAKEHORN hangs down from an ace and finds everything super boring! No matter what the NEINhorn suggests, she has no answer. The friends go after the NOhorn, and together the new gang of five discovers something that no one would have expected.

Saying no is an important developmental step for children. Setting boundaries helps them to discover themselves and allows them to recognize and respect the boundaries of others.

Matts Johan Leenders and Philipp Alfons Heitmann take up the wit and lightness of the popular picture book and use the enormous pleasure of glam rock: in a short period at the beginning of the 1970s, an incredibly fluid approach to gender identity and, above all, damn good music developed. In the glittering design by Simone Grieshaber, "Das NEINhorn" can be experienced as a genuine glam rock spectacle for everyone aged 6 and over.
