What happens when women break out of their socialization? While Anna cheats while heavily pregnant, Simone secretly photographs her husband's flaccid penis. Gabi stirs salt into her one-night stands' coffee in the morning and the boss gets rid of her permanent smile with a Botox treatment. Angry, unpredictable and untamed - Mareike Fallwickl and Eva Reisinger's female characters have had enough. They no longer put up with anything, behave differently to what society expects of them, they live differently, love differently, hate differently.

Mareike Fallwickl (*1983 in Hallein, Austria) is a Spiegel bestselling author and is committed to promoting literature with a focus on female narrative voices as well as feminist, queer and diverse topics.

Eva Reisinger (*1992 in Upper Austria) is a freelance author based in Vienna. She studied journalism and established an Austria focus for the young medium of DIE ZEIT in 2017. Her bestseller Männer töten (2023) was nominated for the Austrian Book Prize Debut.

The event takes place in cooperation with the Office for Women and Equal Rights of the City of Giessen, the Giessen City Theater and the Association for Intercultural Encounters (ViBB e.V.) at the Giessen City Theater (Südanlage 1, 35390 Giessen). Admission is €15, reduced / LZG members €10. Tickets will be sold exclusively via the Stadttheater Gießen from March . Access is wheelchair accessible.
