Das Sams - Eine Woche voller Samstage

Paul Maar's charming story about friendship and courage is, above all, great fun - full to bursting with wordplay and situation comedy.

Sams is a lively, cheeky and extremely lovable creature. One day he chooses the timid, staid Mr. Taschenbier as his dad and completely turns his life upside down. He constantly causes a stir and gets Mr. Taschenbier into more and more trouble, for example with the strict landlady Mrs. Rotkohl. Sams takes every sentence literally, can rhyme surprisingly, calculate at lightning speed - and even fulfill wishes. Mr. Taschenbier is annoyed, but will he and Sams become friends after all?

The classic children's book was published in 1973 as the first of the eleven-volume children's book series and has enchanted countless children and adults ever since.
