Das stille Sterben der Insekten

In the organizer's words:

A research theater play club with children between the ages of 8 and 10

They creep and crawl, they creep and crawl, they buzz and hum: Insects. They are the most species-rich group of animals and have populated our planet for over 400 million years. But perhaps not for much longer. The insect population has declined dramatically and we humans are to blame. In Germany alone, more than a quarter of all insect species are on the red list. Yet we need these creepy-crawlies, which are often labeled as vermin and underestimated. They are the foundation of the food chain, ensure that we can harvest fruit and vegetables and recycle biological waste. Insects are irreplaceable for us and our planet! Can we stop their silent extinction and save the insects?
