Date at Midnight + Symphonic Noise Cult

DATE AT MIDNIGHT currently consists of Daniele De Angelis (vocals), Pasquale Vico (bass & synthesizer), Francesco Mignogna (drums) and Nunzio Biviano (guitar & synthesizer); they formed in Rome in 2007 and have as primary references bands such as Joy Division, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, Christian Death, Fields of the Nephilim, and quickly established a strong reputation both in Italy and abroad. They released their debut, a self-titled EP (2008), and then, as the first Italian band to sign with the French label Manic Depression Records, the album "No Love" (2011); these works attracted the attention of the press and the public, prompting the band to play intensively throughout Europe and compose new material.
The result is the album "Songs to fall and forget" (2016), which adds extra darkwave melancholy to their dark and haunting goth/postpunk sound and includes songs like "Cold Modern World" and "Waves", which became instant classics of goth/postpunk dancefloors and playlists. The CD version of "Songs to fall and forget", like the previous works, is sold out, the album has been reissued as a vinyl version.

n 2018, the band released the EP "Reverse Resilience", which includes the hit "Lights Off/Lights On" and confirms a more complex approach, including a clever use of synthesizers to create atmospheric musical landscapes.
In May 2024, the band released the new album "Fading Into This Grace" for Manic Depression Records.
The work reconfirms Date at Midnight as one of the most influential Italian bands in the current gothic landscape.

Scott Mick (P.o.P, Dark State), originally from Detroit (USA), came to Germany for the first time in 2018 as part of a mini-tour with *Theatre Of Shock Therapy*. Just one year later, in 2019, he decided to relocate permanently. In Germany, he met Winus Rilinger, keyboardist and producer of the dark wave formation *The Eternal Afflict*, and their shared passion for melancholic, dark pop, Winus' artful instrumental work and Scott's haunting lyrics gave rise to a new musical project: SYMPHONIC NOISE CULT.

Since its inception, the band has continued to evolve and gain new members:
Karrie, a versatile artist with experience as an actress and lyricist, not only complements Scott's vocals harmonically, but also enriches the band with her own musical ideas.
Josh, a talented multi-instrumentalist and guitarist, has studied bass guitar and is active in various bands (including Brandsatz, Kilkanny Bastards, Mütze Liedermacher).
Sarah, also a member of Kilkanny Bastards and Mütze Liedermacher, has been playing the violin since she was six years old. She later added viola and double bass and found her way into orchestral music. She enriches the band not only with her virtuoso violin playing, but also with her voice in polyphonic singing
