David Foenkinos. The happy life. (Kiepenheuer & Witsch)
Author reading and discussion in the Neighbors' Literature series
During a business trip, Éric Kherson wanders the streets of Seoul, tired and burnt out, and ends up in a Happy Life - a place where the self-help ritual of his own fake funeral is offered. Surrounded by silence and darkness, Éric suddenly realizes what really matters in life. With the end in sight, the forty-year-old decides to make a fresh start. Charming and profound, David Foenkinos shows us that we can change our lives at any time - we just have to dare to do so. Bestselling author David Foenkinos tells us like no other about new beginnings and why we should dare to do so.
