With "deafdawg", Fabian Livrée, otherwise known as the guitarist and singer of the band Drens, turns out to be a metamorphosis of himself. The musician, who has so far been characterized by raw guitar riffs and an energetic band sound, is now entering Kafkaesque solo territory. Here he interweaves shimmering new wave influences, alternative pop melodies and profound German lyrics to create a sound that oscillates between vulnerability and awakening.

Even before deafdawg released his first demos - originally intended for other musicians - he was on tour with the Chemnitz band Tränen in early 2024. Without a single release of his own in the world, his performance at the Juicy Beats Festival nevertheless marked a remarkable debut. It was the prelude to a journey rooted in restless emotions and dazzling sounds.
