The menopause turns everything upside down: relationships that were considered inseparable or the body that you have only just got to know.
This fall, the Literaturhaus and Centralstation will once again be presenting literary debut works under the title "Debutants' Ball" to give young authors the chance to present their texts and make them known. And since this is a "Debutants' Ball", the audience can also look forward to some music.
On Monday, November 17, Jule Ronstedt will be a guest with her book "Menomorphosen". The evening will be hosted by Ilona Einwohlt.
The menopause turns everything upside down: relationships that were considered inseparable; the body that you have only just got to know properly; life plans that you were holding on to. It's a good thing that these upheavals also offer opportunities.
Actress, director and screenwriter Jule Ronstedt, known for her roles in "Aus heiterem Himmel" and "Wer früher stirbt ist länger tot", among others, has written a book about this stage of life. The idea for her literary debut "Menomorphosen" came to her after conversations with friends who awakened in her the desire to make the voices of women in midlife heard.
