Deep Purple | "MAD IN EUROPE" 2026

For more than five decades, DEEP PURPLE have been one of the most influential bands in rock history. With classics such as "Smoke on the Water" and "Highway Star", they laid the foundations of hard rock - and are still on stage in 2026 with unbroken enthusiasm.

With their last four studio albums and the current "=1" (2024), DEEP PURPLE directly conquered the top of the German album charts. The albums also reached top positions in numerous other European countries, impressively underlining that the Brits are still at the forefront of international rock in the new millennium.

The current line-up brings the perfect blend of experience and fresh energy: Ian Gillan (vocals), Roger Glover (bass), Ian Paice (drums), Don Airey (keyboards) and Simon McBride (guitar) form a line-up that combines the magic of past decades with impressive musical vitality.

Simon McBride in particular, on board since 2023, is regarded as the fresh engine of the band: "The Irish-born guitarist added a lot of power to the band and was able to put his own spin on many of the well-known classics" (Creative Loafing Tampa Bay).
