DemokratieKiosk: Kiez-Mühle mit Dirk von Manteuffel

Together with Dirk von Manteuffel, the DemokratieKiosk transforms public squares and kiosks into places of encounter and communication!

With the "Kiez-Mühle", von Manteuffel transfers the principle of the mill game into a democratic learning and meeting format at the kiosk: game rules, negotiation, fairness and joint action can be experienced as social practice. The process is clearly structured (setting up the playing field, learning the game, revitalizing the game culture) and aims to allow independent game agreements, formats and small tournament structures to develop over the course of the project - as a low-threshold framework for participation and neighbourhood dialogue.

Dirk von Manteuffel works as a designer in a visual and three-dimensional context and develops formats that combine design, communication and mediation. Under the Studio von Manteuffel label, he creates interdisciplinary projects and workshop formats based on practical activities, material experience and joint learning.
