Would you have thought that there are nine (!) natural monuments on the grounds of Westfalenpark? We set off on a long walk through the park. On the way from the Kaiserhain, via the cypress pond, past the festival meadow to the heathland, we experience all the monuments. There are exciting and interesting things to see and tell at every stop. Incidentally, one of the natural monuments is not a tree, but an erratic boulder that has been in the park for many years. Other secrets will only be revealed during the guided tour...

We offer small snacks of information in a relaxed atmosphere and try out new formats - entertaining and enlightening. Science after Work is a joint series of events organized by Dortmund Zoo, Westfalenpark Dortmund, the Animal Protection Center, Dortmund Nature Museum and Rombergpark Botanical Gardens.
