In cooperation with MARKK,einhornkollektiv combines classical opera with a powerful examination of colonial exploitation, male-imperialist hubris and the decolonization of a Wagner opera. A cast of classical opera singers, live musicians and the Berlin electric diva MALONDA present Wagner in a new arrangement by Emanuel Meshvinski. The Afro-German artist MALONDA opens the audience's eyes to this European legendary figure and her colonial context. At MARKK, the objects and architecture create unique spaces of meaning that interweave past and present. Immerse yourself in an immersive music theater experience - a performance that inspires reflection and opens up new perspectives!

Important information:
This OPERA IN A MUSEUM takes place in several locations. There is enough seating for everyone in acts 1 and 2. The 3rd act (approx. 30 minutes) offers a mix of seats and standing room.
