There is no room for adventure in Stefan Busch's everyday life in an assisted living community. But during a group excursion, his life takes a fateful turn: without hesitation, the young man, who everyone just calls Buschi, joins a Japanese travel group. On this unusual road trip, a cautious friendship begins between Buschi and Hideo Kitamura. Buschi, who has spent his whole life refusing to communicate with his fellow human beings through language, blossoms in this foreign environment.
