Der HMKV bei transfer.

In the organizer's words:

On September 13, 2025, the HMKV Hartware MedienKunstVerein will open its new exhibition "Comrade Sun" at Dortmunder U. Across two floors, artistic works and theories link the cosmos - in particular the sun as a central source of life and energy - with social and political movements. The exhibition will be on display until January 18, 2026.

We are delighted to be working with the HMKV on this exciting exhibition and to be involved in designing some special program items. A selection of recommended reading on the themes of the exhibition can currently be found on a book table in our bookshop.

As part of the Week of Independent Bookshops, we would like to set the stage for our new cooperation partner: On November 4, HMKV will introduce itself to us and give a little insight into the current exhibition at Dortmunder U as well as our further cooperation. Of course, our big screen will also be used - but we don't want to reveal any more at this point.
