Hardly any other modern fairy tale evokes such uniform reactions around the world as The Little Prince. "He taught me everything I needed to know about life" - these or similar assessments are not uncommon. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry created a universal ambassador of love and humanity with the little guy from asteroid 612: He reaches millions of people worldwide across all age, cultural and religious boundaries.

The TTT stages a dreamlike journey

The little prince is on a journey through the universe and meets an emergency-landed pilot in the African Sahara of our planet. The two become friends and the little prince tells him about his experiences and insights into friendship and humanity.

The little prince actually came from an asteroid that was so small that the sun set forty-three times a day. There, he devotedly took care of a single rose that he had fallen in love with. However, as the rose was vain and capricious, the prince became unhappy. So he decided to go away to gain other experiences and make friends.

The little prince travels across the universe on seven planets and meets various strange characters. A king without subjects, a vain man without admirers, a hopeless drunkard, a busy businessman, a selfless lamplighter and a geographer who doesn't know his own planet. On the seventh planet, Earth, the little prince not only gets to know the pilot, but also the friendly fox and a wise poisonous snake who eventually brings him back home.
