"You can only see well with your heart. The essentials are invisible to the eyes." This world-famous quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's masterpiece "The Little Prince" has touched people's hearts for generations.

Theatrium Steinau has been bringing this timeless story to the stage as a lovingly staged puppet show for many years. The magical encounter between the aviator and the little prince, who comes from a tiny asteroid, becomes a special experience in this production. On his journey through the universe, the prince encounters various strange figures - each of them poetically reflecting the often unimaginative and impoverished world of adults. The story tells with great sensitivity about being a child, love and loneliness and opens up new perspectives on the essentials of life for the audience.

The play is performed by Detlef Heinichen, whose puppet theater brings one of the most beautiful and profound stories in world literature to life.
