ChatGPT and co. were just the beginning. "Large behavioral models" are currently triggering an AI boom in robotics. The new, smart AI robots know how to grasp objects and how to break down spoken commands into executable actions. They speak many languages, recognize people, their facial expressions and gestures, and behave in such a way that no one is endangered. Renowned futurologist and author Dr. Ulrich Eberl explains how far these AI robots have already come, what areas of application they are suitable for and what hurdles there are.
