In the organizer's words:

This year, the Popchor Mannheim is once again holding its traditional Christmas concert on the third weekend of Advent: Saturday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. The performance venue is new this year: the Kulturkirche Epiphanias in Feudenheim. The change has become necessary due to the strong growth in the number of singers.

However, it is once again a tradition that modern hits from Ed Sheeran to Stevie Wonder and Coldplay will be performed alongside classic Christmas carols. In a festive atmosphere, you can listen to well-known pieces from our repertoire as well as newly rehearsed songs. Some of them have been specially arranged for us by our choir director and tailored to our strengths. And just as traditionally, the great live band "Lewczuk & Friends" will add the finishing touches!

Tickets (€17 for adults, €13 for pupils and students, €8 for children aged between 6 and 12) are available via Eventbrite, from choir members and, subject to availability, at the Box Office (€20/15/10). For financially disadvantaged citizens, we are again offering tickets via the Kulturpass.

The Popchor Mannheim is looking forward to welcoming a large number of people and invites interested, experienced singers (especially in bass, tenor and alto 2) to join the choir after the concert. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 6-8 pm in the Liedertafel rooms, K2 31, 3rd floor. Please let us know in advance so that we can welcome you.
