The Broken Jug

In the fictional Dutch village of Huisum, the village magistrate Adam is surprised by the visit of Walter, the councillor of the court, who is supposed to examine the village justice system. On this very day, a case is being heard concerning a jug that was broken the previous evening in connection with an unauthorized visit to young Eve. The plaintiff, Eve's mother, accuses Eve's fiancé Ruprecht, but who is the culprit? And what happened to the broken jug? And why is Judge Adam limping?

The production of The Broken Jug is being created with the established, professional ensemble of Szene 10, which has already staged Friedrich Dürrenmatt's The Physicists.
