Blackmail is a British thriller from 1929, masterfully directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Hitchcock tells an astonishingly contemporary #metoo story under the auspices of his time. Eggert scored the silent film classic for ZDF/ARTE in 2023. A version for large ensemble has now been commissioned by der/gelbe/klang, with the premiere of which der/gelbe/klang is continuing its highly acclaimed series of silent film concerts
