10 years ago the time had come... Dervjani finally saw the light of day between the Elbe and Drawehn rivers, shook a few crumpled sheet music from his jacket and trouser pockets and from then on began to make the much-admired audience dance.

The music of the Roma from the Balkans, a lot of influences from Cuba, Russia and from Germany are tipped out in a danceable off-beat first on stage and then of course over the dance floor so that hardly anyone can stand still. But nobody is supposed to...
