A detective trail is an exciting hands-on adventure where you search for clues together with Detective Badger, solve puzzles and discover a town in a completely new way.
On the Osterode am Harz Detective Trail: Detective Badger needs your help at the start of the Harz Witches' Trail! Many a puzzle awaits you right at the foot of the famous Witches' Trail. With treasure map and pen in hand, you'll join the sharp-witted badger on a journey through the historic old town of Osterode.
Start at the Tourist Information, where the first puzzle awaits you. Your mission then takes you across the colorful market square to the mighty St. Aegidien Church. "Look closely!", Dachs would say - perhaps a clue is hidden between old stones or under a window arch?
At the statue of the donkey driver, Detective Badger tells you about earlier times when donkeys carried heavy loads through the Harz Mountains. Things get particularly exciting along the old town wall - witches may have left their traces here! Only those who combine well and work together as a team will get closer to the secret.
Finally, Detective Badger accompanies you to the museum in the Knight's House. Once you have solved all the puzzles, you will crack the code to the treasure chest together - and a little surprise awaits you.
