Belgian indie rock band celebrates their albums "Worst Case Scenario" and "In a Bar, Under the Sea" in Cologne, Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg

In the 1990s - 1994 and 1996 to be precise - the Belgian band dEUS released two groundbreaking albums, "Worst Case Scenario" and "In a Bar, Under the Sea", which radically and permanently changed their own lives and those of thousands of fans. Today, with a discography of eight albums to date, dEUS are perhaps the most influential rock band in Belgium. In 2026, their Worst Case Versus In A Bar tour sees them return to the two albums that shaped their career. Not necessarily played from start to finish, the tour promises all the hits from the records as well as tracks that have never been played live before. Presented in a modern light, dEUS offer more than just a nostalgic trip back to the nineties. Fans can look forward to a unique live musical experience dedicated entirely to the two albums, which will only be performed in selected European cities: A show not to be missed due to its uniqueness. In March, dEUS, featuring Tom Barman (vocals & guitar), Klaas Janzoons (keyboards, mandolin & violin), Stéphane Misseghers (drums), Alan Gevaert (bass) and Simen Følstad Nilsen (guitar), will be performing in Cologne, Berlin and Frankfurt and will also be playing live in Hamburg at the beginning of April.

dEUS formed in Antwerp in 1989 and, after signing to Island Records, got their career off to a great start with their first two albums, which took them to number 2 in the charts in their home country in 1996. With the album "The Ideal Crash" , released in 1999, the band also entered the German charts for the first time and enjoyed success throughout Europe. After the turn of the millennium, the albums "Pocket Revolution" (2005), "Vantage Point" (2008), "Keep You Close" (2011), "Following Sea" (2012) and 2023' s "How to Replace It" followed , all of which reached number 1 in the album charts in Belgium and further cemented dEUS ' status.

Nevertheless, songs such as "Suds & Soda", "Hotellounge (Be the Death of Me)" and "Shake Your Hip" from the album "Worst Case Scenario" as well as the "In A Bar, Under The Sea" tracks "Little Arithmetics" and "Roses " are among the musicians' most successful songs alongside the newer songs "Nothing Really Ends", "Instant Street" and "The Architect". The fact that the unusual breadth of their influences, which range from pop, punk and heavy metal to jazz, quickly made dEUS one of Belgium's most successful bands is part of a unique story. The story of a band that shaped the entire Belgian indie rock scene like no other with their first two albums.
