The German Fre estyle Football Championship 2025 (GFFC 2025) brings the national elite of freestyle soccer to Bremen for the first time! Be there when Germany's best freestylers compete against each other in spectacular 1-on-1 battles and fight for the title.

Whether national champions, world record holders or well-known content creators - this is where skill, style and creativity meet pure competitive spirit.

Event highlights

• Friday, 19.09.2025 - from 14:00 to approx. 20:00: Qualification rounds - who will make it to the grand final?
• Saturday, 20.09.2025 - from 12:00 to approx. 15:00 : Final rounds & award ceremony - The big battle for the championship title!

Admission is free on both days. As a non-profit organizer, the Deutscher Freestyle Fußball Bund e.V. is happy to receive voluntary donations on site.

Drinks, snacks & sound

The adjacent BOLZBAR will provide refreshments with cool drinks and snacks. DJ Tom will also provide the perfect atmosphere with fat hip-hop, trap and EDM beats - in the style of the freestyle community.

What is freestyle soccer anyway?

Freestyle soccer is much more than just "heel-tip-1-2-3". Although soccer and freestyle soccer use the same playing equipment - the soccer - there are hardly any similarities apart from that. Unlike traditional soccer, the focus of freestyle football is not on scoring goals, but on performing creative tricks with the ball. A uniform definition of the sport has not yet been established, which probably also contradicts the idea of freestyle. Nowadays, soccer freestyle is generally described as follows: "Football freestyle is a form of creative self-expression through the execution of soccer tricks with an ordinary soccer." The tricks may be performed - especially in battle tournaments - with all body parts permitted in soccer. Over the years, soccer freestyle has been influenced by other sports, in particular classical juggling, breaking and acrobatics.

Who is the organizer?

The German Freestyle Football Association (DFFB) is the official German national association for the sport of soccer freestyle and a member of the World Football Freestyle Association (WFFA). Since its foundation, the DFFB has been committed to non-profit status, which means that all members perform their work on a voluntary and unpaid basis. The overriding purpose is to convey the joy of physical exercise through the sport of freestyle soccer. In doing so, the DFFB supports its members and the entire soccer freestyle community in practicing and developing the sport. The scope and objectives of the association include in particular

• The annual organization of the German Football Freestyle Championships
• Supporting the organization of community events (meetings as well as live and online competitions)
• Networking the soccer freestyle community via contact points on the Internet, in particular via its own website and social media channels
• Cooperation with the World Freestyle Football Association (WFFA)

In addition, the DFFB acts as a central point of contact for the general public on a wide range of topics. This includes the provision of general and verified information on the sport as well as access to all German championships and their winners. The DFFB thus creates complete transparency around the topic of soccer freestyle and offers customers the opportunity to check the advertised titles and references of the athletes before working with freestylers or marketing agencies.
