DEVADO
Immerse yourself in the creative world of DEVADO, the German-American urban pop artist from Munich. Many Disney fans already know her unmistakable voice from the chart hit Vaiana - but her own music goes much deeper than that.
As the youngest of five sisters, born into a creative home, Debby van Dooren aka DEVADO was destined for the stage from the very beginning. She wrote her first song at the age of eight and stood in front of the microphone from an early age. Today, she is known for her unique DIY approach: using her voice and body sounds, she transforms raw ideas into pulsating beats and melodies.
Her music has already inspired Rolling Stone, Wonderland and Earmilk, and in 2021 she performed for Mercedes at the IAA. DEVADO is a member of the Grammy Recording Academy, the Female Producer Collective and Polyton Berlin. In 2025, she was also awarded the Female Producer Prize - a milestone that underlines her work as an independent producer and songwriter.
Her sound - inspired by 2000s urban pop à la Nelly Furtado x Timbaland or Destiny's Child - immediately catches the ear and stays in the heart. German radio stations play her songs and Buttons has long been a fan favorite. With Turnin Heads (2024), she made history with her fans by incorporating their voices and sounds into the song.
In 2025, she showed an intimate side with the piano EP My Tiny Desk, which focuses on songwriting and emotion. With Brakes, she combines both mother tongues for the first time - a promise for the future.
DEVADO works her magic live: a one-woman show full of energy, charisma and songs you won't forget!
